Climate and conservation feel distant in a busy city, and awareness campaigns rarely become habits.
A recurring public programme that changes focus each year but keeps one aim: make protecting nature something people in Kuala Lumpur actually do.
In 2016 the team ran an awareness campaign at TAR UC on global warming, deforestation, reforestation and recycling, followed by tree planting. In 2025 the programme went to Sunway Velocity Mall, Cheras, on 27 July, with colouring sessions and a demonstration of turning waste into fertiliser; the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation took part. The 2026 edition, Together for Wildlife, focuses on wildlife conservation.
