Program NextGen takes two awards at the 2024 JCI World Congress
Best Local Growth and Development Program and Most Outstanding Local Project, in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
At the 2024 JCI World Congress in Taoyuan, Taiwan, JCI Kuala Lumpur’s Program NextGen was named Best Local Growth and Development Program and Most Outstanding Local Project, as reported by JCI Malaysia in the final 2024 issue of its Pemimpin magazine.
Growth and development awards recognise how a local organisation brings in new members and turns them into active contributors. It is the least glamorous work in any volunteer organisation, and the most important: every Board, every project chair and every future president starts as a new member.
NextGen’s recognition came in the same year JCI KL was recorded as Best of the Best at the JCI Malaysia National Convention under President Chris Teng.
